The Game – 272 – Ted Robinson

For 10 years he was the voice of the San Francisco 49ers. We find out what’s next for Ted Robinson. He’s here, The Game is Sports and The Game is on.

Welcome to The Game. I’m Mark Simon. My partner, Kevin Mullin, is on assignment. Just as the regular season ended for the 49ers, the team announced that Ted Robinson, the radio voice of the team, was moving out of the booth, replaced by veteran Bay Area sports broadcaster Greg Papa. Ted will continue with the Niners as a team representative at community events, and he will, of course, continue as the man for all seasons. On his Twitter account, Ted describes himself as “Sports broadcaster. Domer. Native New Yorker, NorCal resident. Proud to work for Pac12 Network, Tennis Channel and NBC Olympics.” Since 2000, he has been with NBC as tennis play-by-play, Olympics, swimming/diving announcer and NBC Sports Network for college football/basketball. He also works for the Tennis Channel and the Pac-12 Network. And we are happy to welcome back to The Game, our friend, Ted Robinson.
